Premiere visitors praise the new venture: "Good concept"

After several months of construction work, it was time for Älmhult's new restaurant and pub Two Guys Gastro Pub to open.

Many people wanted to try both the gin bar and restaurant upstairs and the pub with activities such as billiards and shuffleboard in the basement.

– Very nice and a good concept, says Håkan Erliksson, one of the visitors.

– Plus, the food was very good, says Rosita Erliksson.

Linus Malmros and Martin Andreasson also gave the thumbs up for the venture.

– It's good to have a pub in the basement. It's something that's been missing in Älmhult.

Fleur Laarman and Rhonda James-Danielsson were satisfied with the food and the atmosphere.

– I've had a fantastic pasta with truffles. When you come from outside to work in Älmhult, you need a place like this. You can go here just for a drink too. Truly a place for everyone, says Rhonda James-Danielsson.

Selin Hult tested the new pub together with Pelle Sörensen, Catrine Bengtsson and Fredrik Svensson.

– It's good that there is both a restaurant with fine dining and a slightly simpler bar menu, says Selin Hult.

– So glad we got this place in Älmhult too. There is a good diversity among the restaurants in Älmhult now, Selin Hult continues.

Restaurateurs Michael Dsouza and Kevin Marrio seemed pleased with the premiere.

Kevin Marrio had a bit of a hard time as a chef in the kitchen. 

“It's been busy here since about half past five,” he says.
